Fiona came downstairs, modeling her Fleur Delacour costume for the Portus Masquerade. Including the three inch heels.

Once I picked my jaw up off the floor, I told her seriously: "Sweetie, you have to promise me one thing."

"What?"

"You must promise to use your powers only for good."

"Okay," she said sweetly and tripped off.

I don't know how these girls walk in their heels. I never wore heels much, because I'm tall and because I have wide feet. But the few times I did, I think 2" was the highest I managed.

Practice, practice, practice. You do stumble a bit the first few times, but soon even four inches will be a piece of cake.
