At the south end of the bridge (if you are facing north), it is light rail tracks on your left, sidewalk, Hiawatha to your right (on the bridge).

You go down the hill and cross Lake street. Then, as you head up the hill again (still traveling north) the elevated light rail passes directly over your head and over Hiawatha, so by the time you get to 26th street, the light rail is now running along the east side of Hiawatha, rather than the west. Cross Hiawatha at 26th street, cross the light rail tracks and then turn left and continue heading north again, this time on the bicycle lane. Then (facing north) Hiawatha is furthest to your left, then the light rail tracks, then the bicycle lane (as in this picture).
