First day of high school for Delia
I noted that the paper mentioned this morning that the high school my girls are going to was named the best one in the state in Minnesota by Newsweek last year (er, and we know how authoritative Newsweek is about EVERYTHING. Har, har, har. Still, it was a pleasant affirmation of our decision to pick this school).
Fiona was up until midnight last night working on summer homework. No, she did not finish it. Yes, she is entirely aware how stupid this is.
Fiona's bus will be grandfathered in, since she was already attending when they decided to take the bus away. But it's gonna cost us $85 a month for the city bus for Delia. That really isn't in our budget.
Ouch.
I watched them go out the door this morning with pride (and a little worry). Man, they're smart. And kind. And gorgeous. And I'm so very proud of them.
