Finished Lois McMaster Bujold's The Hallowed Hunt last night

Lois did her usual masterful job, although I do have some comments for her, and she hasn't written the epilogue yet. I'm going to suggest paticularly that she move some of the historical backstory to a point sooner in the book, to avoid confusion.

Still, as I said, a delightful read. Ingrey and Ijada are both well-drawn characters. I particularly admired her examination of the theme of the stuggle for temporial vs. spiritual power, as symbolized by the reoccurring leifmotif of the dancing llamas.

(All right, so I'm just kidding on that last part.)

The sad fact is that Lois could write a book about dancing llama's, and I would read it, and probably like it.

Although I'm just as happy that "Lois Bujold=Dancing Llama" is not a valid algorithem.
