It's a blue denim jacket that has had ribbons sewn all over it in parallel lines. I got the idea from kijjohnson, who has created several. Kij got the denim jackets that she used at thrift stores, but I cheated and just went to the Gap. I was too impatient to wait to find something perfect in a thrift store, but I suppose my jacket is insufficiently bohemian. Anyway, I do love it. I got the ribbons from kijjohnson, elisem and radcliffe. I have antique bone buttons sewn on the pocket flap (and a little pewter fish button, for the fish of wisdom, and a few satin roses scattered over the jacket, too. A one of a kind creation; I'm quite proud of it.
If I can ever figure out how to access my webspace, I'll try to scan a picture of the jacket and put it up . . . but don't know how long that will be. Don't hold your breath.
