Abortion politics, argh

Like [livejournal.com profile] chn_breathmint, I find that this makes me just about foam at the mouth. It seems that to our President, being pro-choice means letting the terrorists win. Surely thinking people, no matter where they stand on this particular question, must object to the sheer sloppiness of such reasoning.

[Goes off to thwap something].

The concept of a NATIONAL day for SANCTITY of anything kinda sets off my church/state separation bells, and that's above and beyond my ire at his association of pro-choice with terrorism.

I hope the Dems come up with a worthy opponent for 2004.

Didn't you know that everything in the entire WORLD has to relate back to 9/11? :-P

Ugh indeed.

ARGH. This appalls me.

Bush jr. is pulling the same crap his father did--attempting to distract the country from domestic issues and his incompetence by war-mongering and creating zealous patriotism. He's even using the same enemies.

I am of course upset by 9/11 (heck, my office is two blocks from Ground Zero)--but I am sickened by the way it is being used to manipulate Americans into a particular political agenda.
And it keeps getting worse...

I am disgusted and enraged by this as well. What's next?

I'm afraid to ask...
