Sorry, there' a link broken above. The Search Day Newsletter is from Search Engine Watch, and VOYA and BookReporter are the sources for which I do professional book reviews. Also, I forgot to mention that when you go to get a MLIS, you do have to have a Bachelor's, but it doesn't matter what field it's in. Like [livejournal.com profile] praetorianguard, my degree is in music (I have a B.M. in percussion and music ed, but I also studied voice). I was actually the only person in my library school class with a BM. Most librarians study English, history, philosophy, etc., but like I said, it doesn't really matter.
