Massage
Today, as part of their recognition of Administrative Professional Day, or whatever they're calling it these days, my firm had a couple of masseuses come in who give people backrubs. These women, whom we've had in before, are both very good, offering a table to lie down on, oils, etc.
I signed up for a fifteen minute session with one woman. She found a lot of knots in my back, and she said I was carrying a lot of tension, so I signed up for a second session in the afternoon.
Out of curiosity, I asked her where I fell in the continuum compared to most people she did, on a scale from one to ten, where one is the most relaxed and ten is the most tense.
"Oh," she said, "you're about a twelve or a thirteen."
I have a coupon for a free session tomorrow at the yoga studio across the street from my office. I think I will go over and do that during lunch.
