Lady Catherine DeB's visit in the middle of the night made me cringe. The Lady CDB of the book would NEVER have let anything be seen to upset her that much. I didn't think about Dacy going to Mr. Bennett in a state of deshabille (wonderful word by the way :-) ), but did wince at Elizabeth taking his hand and kissing it. Seemed MUCH too forward IMHO.
