Heard back from my doctor's office

They're putting in a prescription for an antibiotic for me that I will pick up today. Cross your fingers that it'll help.

I will cross my fingers for you. I'm hoping I stop coughing soon too. Coughing with an unrepaired hernia to worry about is so very much not enjoyable.

Good luck. Some of the colds this year are killer!

It will help. You'll start feeling better in about 12 hours.

*lectures you* Next time, don't wait so long to take something!

Fingers crossed.

thinking good thoughts

Got to tell you, I had near-constant bronchitis from last Thanksgiving through May, relieved only by a couple of bouts with pneumonia.

Turned out I was deathly allergic to cleaning products, especially those containing ammonia (i.e. standard Windex and others) or bleach.

When I'd start to feel a little better, I'd clean house and relapse. I am not a clean freak. A little goes a long way, and a little whiff of ammonia, or bleach fumes, and I wake up with severe bronchitis.

Could you be reacting to something in your environment, that's making this thing hang on?

Also, look into probiotics, to help keep the antibiotics from pulling down your immune system. Yogurt with live cultures helps too.

*hugs*

sorry about all the unsolicited advice
