Glad you commented and reminded me. This is just a quick during-a-meeting jotting, but to add to your collection of trees, at least tangentially:

A slant of light shoulders aside bare branches.
One end is the sky; the other, a daffodil in the grass
Glowing so bright its radiance streams back to the sun.

Later, the light's direction is more clear
As it brushes through green leaves,
And carves a line straight through green water.
