Note: There exists an album by a group called Willie and the Red Rubber Band (one of two albums I have ever checked out of a public library, then gone out and bought) and there is a song off a (an early?) Leonard Cohen album in which one verse ends with the words "The music of...rubber bands." I am not that fond of 2/3 of Cohen's work and do not own this album, but it exists.
