Writer's Block: Lost & Found
[Error: unknown template qotd]
When we were preparing for Fiona's birthday portrait, I went through my jewelry box with her, trying to find a necklace she could wear with her new dress. I found an earring, the only one left I have of a pair I loved dearly. They were a pair of roses, exquisitely carved out of bone, each about an inch across. I lost one in the snow about ten years ago, but I loved those earrings so much that I could never bear to throw away the other one.
I keep meaning to find a solvent that will dissolve the glue holding the post to the back of the one I have left, and then mount it on a bale/jump ring so I can wear it as a necklace instead.
