More info

I was honestly quite frightened when I saw the car. Besides the obvious damage to the front end, the windshield was broken, with cracked lines radiating out from directly in front of the front passenger seat. I was relieved to learn from Rob, however, that the impact was made not by Delia's head, as I'd feared, but by the airbag. They were both wearing safety belts.

They gave her a teddy bear in the ambulance, which she said helped. She sounded okay when I talked with her.

Rob just called. She's feeling a little bit of neck pain, but they gave her a super Tylenol and the X-rays don't show anything abnormal, so Delia's about to be released. I'm leaving to go pick them up.
