Everybody's home
Delia is moving quite stiffly, but we're exchanging a lot of hugs. She has an ironclad excuse for not going to sparring class tomorrow. Hospital said that she'd probably be quite sore tomorrow, and we should wake her in the middle of the night to give her Tylenol.
She named her new teddy bear "Patches."

Doing some forms might be good stretching exercises that help down the road. Dunno what Rob will do...

Tell Delia to get lots of rest.

Arnica cream might help a bit with the muscle soreness & stiffness (can't hurt, anyway, and it's a nice excuse for gently stroking an injured lived one, which I think helps healing).

Aside from the soreness, what I noticed was that she would have flashbacks and some traumatic nightmare type stuff and it lasted a while. Several months and she will still occasionally have a bad dream about it. So if Delia has some bad dreams or flashes back to that moment of impact or whatever moment was the scariest, don't be surprised. Our doctor said it was really normal when Em was going through it.
I'm so glad Delia is okay.
