Edwards

Oh, fer cryin' out loud. You'd think after (Bill) Clinton, politicians would learn.

Billie Jean *is* my lover, but the kid is not my son?

Newt Gingrich actually had his wife served with divorce papers while she was dying of cancer, so he could marry his mistress, and all of this while he was working to impeach Clinton for lying about his involvement with Monica Lewinsky. Overall, I'd have to say that while Clinton fails in this regard and Edwards fails much harder (because Hillary seems to have been in continuous good health for years now, in contrast to Edwards's wife), Gingrich still fails hardest of all when you factor in the hypocrisy.

I'd kind of thought that an Obama/Edwards ticket could do well, too, but clearly that's not going to happen now.

I'd add McCain to the list of stinkers too. Seriously, these men have no right to talk about "family values."

Sadly I'm not the least bit surprised.

Well, there's another one who won't be VP. :(

Oh, Clinton's far from the only politician to cheat on his wife, just the most prominent one to get caught doing so recently.

McCain, for instance, applied for a marriage license to marry his current wife, Cindy, while he was STILL MARRIED to his first wife, though the divorce was final before the second marriage actually took place. That possibly goes beyond "cheating" and into "bigamy"; I don't know what Arizona state law is in this respect.

As usual, it's not the act, but the coverup.

Either act or coverup, it's sleazy. Ugh.

I? Am depressed more than disgusted.
