You're a "total whore" when it comes to friends but "wary of trusting strangers". While these aren't opposites, the combination seems dissonant.

As to "simplistic": My guess is that they're using vocabulary. You talk to (and about) your kids and speak to their level (which is probably much higher than average for their age).

The metric doesn't give style points, and the Australian judge... sorry been watching too much Olympics....
