Yes, I am familiar with the statistics on flu. I do recognize that ordinary garden-variety influenza does kill lots of people every year. That's why I make sure that everyone in my family gets a flu shot each year. And yes, I've been following the news and realize that this strain is turning out to not be as virulent as first feared.
