Worthiest Words website is up!

My new professional (self-designed) website is launched. It's a bit bare bones (need to write more posts--a LOT more), I still have to figure out lead magnets (and how, exactly, the site will lead me to my goals) and I'm sure there'll be hiccups, but on the whole, I'm happy with it and happy to get it up. The name of the site is Worthiest Words. I am also on Twitter at @worthiestwords (as well as still at my old account @pegkerr).

I like the layout a lot! One thing I noticed, though: the background images are huge. I have a top-tier, business-grade connection and it took 1.7 minutes to load http://worthiestwords.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/altered-governor-board.png (at 3.9MB) and 1.2 minutes for http://worthiestwords.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/mountains-1287990-by-Pixabay.jpg (at 2.9MB).

You probably didn't notice the load times because you had the images stored locally, but you'll get much better load times (and use a lot less of people's mobile data!) if you resize the images and save them at a slightly lower quality!
