This message took several years off my life tonight.



Okay, it was a false alarm, apparently. But I had been away from the news all day, and this was the first inkling I'd had of any incident. I read the first message and went into full-blown white out panic. The second backed me down to DEFCON 4. But until I could get my frozen fingers to check the news...OMG. I don't want to ever have to go through anything like that again.

And, yikes, I'm so glad she wasn't hurt - I know some people were injured in the panic caused by the false alarm. *hugs you*

Her dear friend and former roommate Becca had taken a job at DC with the US Census, and Fiona was in town for the weekend for a visit, and they decided to go to Pride.
