The critics rave . . .
Fiona had to write a short story as a class assignment, which she entitled "The Water Door." Then, inspired no doubt by what she has learned from living in the household of a published novelist, she went a step further: she created a construction paper cover for it and wrote the back cover copy:
"When Madline find the water door of her dad's songs, she is irrisitably curious. Who knows what will happen beyond the door?. Then she went to four of her friends and had them read it and blurb it:
"A story worthy of publication. Good for anyone who likes librarys" -- LinneaI certainly hope that her teacher found this as amusing as I do.
"A wonderful story for young readers" -- Sydney
"An adventure worth reading!" -- Claire
"A story full of humor and adventure!" -- Anna
