Friends meme
I answered these questions on
cruisedirector's LJ, so I sorta feel obligated to ask them in my own; turnabout is fair play. (I usually do a variation on this when my friends list pops up another hundred or so. So I'm early this time. Humor me.)
1. When did you first "friend" me? [Actually, you can find out the exact date by clicking here]
2. Why did you first "friend" me?
3. What posts of mine do you like to read the best?
4. What would you like me to write about that I don't?
5. Do you think we would be friends in real life?
6. How often do you read my journal?
7. What do we have in common?
8. Will you post this in your journal so I can answer?
9. Is there anything you want to ask me that you think you should know about me to avoid the impersonality of the internet that I have not already covered in some TMI post or other?
Feel free to answer as many or as few as you like.
(Of course, you may also feel free to answer none at all.)

2. Why did you first "friend" me?
I believe you had tracked me down first, or perhaps it was that the person through whom I met you had told me you had a journal here -- I don't recall, but as soon as I saw your name I immediately recalled a couple of your book titles and was excited at the idea of reading your journal.
3. What posts of mine do you like to read the best?
Probably things about your kids and LOTR and HP commentary, which are probably the biggest things we have in common at the moment.
4. What would you like me to write about that I don't?
I am always interested when other people write about politics and religion regularly but I know that can make journaling tense and not-fun, so I could not say I would LIKE you to write about those things per se, would just be interested in hearing your take more often.
5. Do you think we would be friends in real life?
I hope so! If you are ever in the DC area I would be delighted to take you out for cheesecake and we could find out.
6. How often do you read my journal?
Whenever you post, unless I'm out of town or swamped. You're on my default list. *g*
7. What do we have in common?
Kids, a passion for certain fantasy tropes, writing, some social views.
8. Will you post this in your journal so I can answer?
Heh. Did.
9. Is there anything you want to ask me that you think you should know about me to avoid the impersonality of the internet that I have not already covered in some TMI post or other?
Mint, cherry, toffee or nougat in your chocolates?
