What do you like best about living in MN, and have you/would you ever seriously consider living anywhere else?

I grew up in the Chicago area. I came here for college, and I decided I like Minnesota better, and I don't think I want to live anywhere else.

I love the variation in seasons. I love the vibrant arts scene, and the way we have lakes plunked down right in the middle of the city. It seems to me the perfect size for a city, big enough to offer a lot, but not so big that it seems overwhelming. I like the personality of the people who live here.

And yes, we got the power back after about four and a half hours. We didn't lose anything.
