Looking for communities

Tonight, I cruised a lot of my friends' journals to see which LJ communities they belong to, trying to find ones I might like myself. Found [livejournal.com profile] novelwriters, which I've joined. (Why not?)

If you're so inclined, tell me about one or two of your favorite cool communities that you've found on LJ that you think might interest me. And in return I'll let you know of any communities that I've found that I think might interest you. Thanks!

Cheers,
Peg

Communities? Gak! I barely have time to read postings from people I know.

That's ok, B.

I won't make you join any (*grins*)

Think I might have to join that one as well...looks good. Thanks for the recommendation!

Others you might like? Hrm...well, I'm in about 5 LOTR-related communities, but how many does one really need?

Recent studies at the University of North-West Kansas suggest the optimum number is 23.

Have you checked out [livejournal.com profile] seriouswriters ? I just lurk there, but it looks like a pretty active and supportive community.

And I'd love to hear of any other good writing communities you've found. (I'm a member of [livejournal.com profile] yaandmgwriters already, which is how I found you.)

Hey, thanks

good suggestion. I've sent [livejournal.com profile] seriouswriters an e-mail to apply to join.

I've added you as a friend, too. Looking forward to chatting about writing.

Cheers,
Peg
