*hug* Well, if he won't talk to you, maybe he'll sketch for you? You could think about what his art looks like. I am completely sure you're going to get this book written. You've got the drive, and you've got the talent, you're well on your way^_^
I'm glad^_^ I'm curious what kind of art he would produce...would it be perfect in every aspect yet lacking feeling? Would it have changed over time to reflect him? I look forward to any snippets you post about it:D

That's what happened in the novel I'm writing, and now I've got a new character.
And everything's going much more smoothly.

Or write a scene where something awful happens to him. Vengeance/healthy expression of frustration!
Taking a break also has it's benefits... but everyone's already suggested that.

My characters never talk to me anyway.
