Dammit, Jack

Jack is being an utter jerk and refusing to talk to me today. I'm pissed at him.

Am I ever going to get this book written?

Mine seems to be at his time in the mysterious male cycle too. *hugs*

My magic 8 ball says... *shakes*

count on it.

Why not take the day to pamper yourself and get some much-needed you-time and let the man do his own... man-thing?

*hug* Well, if he won't talk to you, maybe he'll sketch for you? You could think about what his art looks like.
I am completely sure you're going to get this book written. You've got the drive, and you've got the talent, you're well on your way^_^

*hugs back* Thanks. You've given me an idea for tomorrow's writing session.

I'm glad^_^ I'm curious what kind of art he would produce...would it be perfect in every aspect yet lacking feeling? Would it have changed over time to reflect him? I look forward to any snippets you post about it:D

I sympathize.

All my characters seem to be giving me the cold shoulder at the moment, with the sole exception being a very minor character who is not supposed to play much of a role.

*sigh*

They can be so stubborn sometimes!

Is he the only POV character? Maybe he just wants a break.

That's what happened in the novel I'm writing, and now I've got a new character.

And everything's going much more smoothly.

Start paying attention to another character and see if that doesn't jerk him right back. Men are such jealous creatures... ;)

Or write a scene where something awful happens to him. Vengeance/healthy expression of frustration!

Taking a break also has it's benefits... but everyone's already suggested that.

Yes, you will get this book written, and it will rock, too.

If he won't talk to you, observe how he won't, how he sulks or evades or whatever.

My characters never talk to me anyway.
