Bad reviews

The following are excerpts from actual one-star Amazon.com reviews of books from Time's list of the 100 best novels from 1923 to the present.

I love going to Amazon and reading bad reviews of things I liked.

I'm not sure why.

Should I be embarrassed that I've described Hemingway novels in a manner similar to that review of The Sun Also Rises? *shifty eyes* In my defence, I did quite enjoy A Farewell to Arms, but The Sun Also Rises was deadly dull, IMO.

(And the Grapes of Wrath reviewer does have a fair point. Lots of dirt. *whistles*)
