Today's wizard rock recommendations

Potter Noyz has added a wonderful new song about Snape, "The Bravest Man I Ever Knew." Now, this song isn't yet downloadable, BUT since they added it, they HAVE switched "To Fred," another great one, to downloadable status (if you have a MySpace account, that is). So check out their page, grab "To Fred" and listen to "The Bravest Man I Ever Knew." They rotate their downloadable song offerings, so keep an eye on their page, and "Bravest Man" should eventually become downloadable, too, when they add another song in the future.

Lyrics to "The Bravest Man I Ever Knew"

The Bravest Man I Ever Knew
by Harry

I don't think you ever really liked me
I guess I can see why
I'm too much the son of my father
The man who always teased you and who ran off with the love of your life
I never really believed you were loyal
But you proved me wrong, and I'm alive because of you

Severus Snape – you were true
And I can hardly imagine what you went through
You protected me
Living dangerously
And you're probably the bravest man I ever knew

I confess I hated you with passion
When you killed Dumbledore
Now I know your love was what drove you
You were Dumbledore's man - a cause you loved enough to give your life for
I never really believed you were loyal
But you proved me wrong, and we won because of you

Severus Snape – you were true
And I can hardly imagine what you went through
You protected me
Living dangerously
And you're probably the bravest man I ever knew

You taught me people can change
You turned the tide in the war
Sometimes I stagger when I think of the love you've shown
You taught me so many things
I never gave you credit for
And I promise you, the Prince's tale will be known
... everywhere

Severus Snape – you were true
And I can hardly imagine everything you went through
You protected me
Living dangerously
And you're probably the bravest man I ever knew

I don't think you ever really liked me
But you must have remembered something
When you looked in my eyes

Neville's Diary has also posted a new downloadable song, "When Hell Freezes Over," which is about Neville's story in Book 7. I like every one of the songs he's posted, he's charming, but then you know I'm a big Neville fan. I believe that the people behind Neville's Diary are the same ones behind The Quaffle Kids.

As always, leave a comment if you listen and like, for my own curiosity.
