*laughs* I love the one woman who just stood there for 12 seconds, gaping.

Reminds me of a dorm prank that I heard off, for inward-opening doors that are normally kept completely shut when the person is inside. Use duct-tape to seal off (at least to head-height) the doorway, leaving that 2" gap between the frame and where the door actually is. Fill the gap with styrofoam peanuts. When the person finally opens his/her door, s/he receives an avalanche of peanuts (and is tape-trapped into their room/office, to boot).

That *is* the best office prank ever. I love it!

That is awesome.

In high school, my class did a senior prank where we flipped two rooms: the rooms themselves were mirror images, so we moved everything out of both rooms and exchanged them. It was a lot of work, especially moving all the books (and then we had to do it all again the next weekend to restore the rooms; that was the terms by which the principal allowed it), but brilliant to wait for the teachers to show up and find them....

I did something similar by moving a workmates stuff from his cube (while he was at lunch) one cube over.

That's freaking hilarious, but I suspect it's the sort of thing you only do on your last work, unless the people you work with have absolutely magnificent senses of humor.

I am only sad I didn't think of it first. That is brillz.
