I'm sure everyone (including Rob!) is thankful to have him back home again for now. And I'm glad his fevers can be dealt with at home, too. Speaking as someone who ran a low-medium fever every single evening for months in 2006 (although, in my case, it turned out I did have a virus), I can verify that it sucks, but it's manageable.
What can we do to make Christmas easier on everyone? Anything?
*sigh* I think I essentially going to be mostly ignoring Christmas. I will send out my usual card (I just had the pictures taken, and they are great), but I don't plan to put up a tree or other decorations--I'm going to be too busy cleaning the damn house. I think that Delia and I will spend Christmas Eve night at Fiona's apartment and then we'll cook the traditional breakfast foods and bring them to the hospital. I think it would be too difficult and painful to eat the Christmas breakfast at my house with Rob's place empty.
As for what would make things easier...I'm still figuring that out.
