Clocks and time

Rob and I each had our own alarm clocks, on our respective dressers. He kept his running about twenty minutes fast, which drove me nuts, but he insisted was necessary so he wouldn't be late for work (it didn't always work like that).

It took until today, over three months after he is gone, to correct it to the actual time.

But why do I have two alarm clocks anyway?

Don't rush it - you'll know when you're ready to downsize to one alarm clock. :) (Are they identical models, or different? Do you prefer one tone or appearance more than the other?)

It always seems to me that once you KNOW a clock is set ahead, you just mentally factor that in, so the desired effect never actually happens. :P
