70s Nostalgia

I seem to have been bit by a bug since buying those albums. Now I want to go out and buy Teaser and the Firecat and Tea for Tillerman. Budget, Peg, budget! No matter what's playing on your computer, you still have to play day care!

It's an Earl Grey tea sort of day

The sky is a uniform drab gray, and the streets are slick with rain. A tree in a parking lot across the street heaves in the wind, the rounded contours of its green canopy billowing and bulging like an amoeba’s outer membrane, the paler underside of the leaves turned toward the sky to taste the rain.

Maybe this isn't a cold

but allergies instead. I will try taking Fiona's Claritin tomorrow.

It feels like the inside of my lungs are coated with a thin coat of rubber cement, and I cannot get rid of it, no matter how hard I cough. Urgh.

It also seems to be affecting my brain (perhaps the lack of oxygen). Am at very low ebb tonight. Not even trying to write; will soon go to bed.
