I'm so sorry.

I had a pretty crapful day, but not as bad as yours sounds.

I hope something small and perfect happens between now and when you fall asleep, and that tomorrow is better.

BTDT. Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed. And yet it feels like even that would go wrong.

Ever since I typed this out, I've felt it was a completely unhelpful and probably annoying thing to say, and I just wanted to apologize. Especially since I just had one of those "nothing goes right" days, myself. Karma, I suppose.

Anyway - forget the misguided "trying to fix everything and look on the bright side" gunk up there. Truly, all I just wanted to do was give you a hug and be supportive, but I don't know when to shut up. Like now, I suspect. :-P

Or, if you wander outside this evening, are the stars strung across the sky? I look to the sky when life sucks. If it really sucks, I look at the bees and listen to them grumble as they work. The grass decked out with dew or frozen into bent swords that are yet to become plowshares.
