Space camp fundraising in general

Since quite a few of you have asked, I am going to be posting information about the Space Camp Delia will be attending because--let's be blunt--we have to raise money to make it possible for her to go. This post will be about the fundraising in general. I will follow it, periodically, with information about the various specific fundraiser events we will be holding periodically until she leaves to attend the camp in May.

I could read her handwriting fine. Of course, part of my job is deciphering the scribbles of lawyers and executives.

You should post the information about the Galaxyquest fundraiser to Natter and mnstf (he says with his President hat on).

Thank you for reminding me to grab envelopes on my way to work. I always wanted to go to Space Camp--my class took field trips to Huntsville as it was only a two hour drive. However, it never worked out for me to go. I'd be glad to help someone out who does want to go!

... I saw something in my email box today about a scholarship for that. Let me see if it's restricted to military kids only, because I think it caught my eye because it wasn't. The only reason I couldn't go is, well, 'cos I'm twenty. I didn't even think of Delia when I saw it... let me follow up on it.

I can't remember if you specified this before or not but - how much does it cost, per child?

Also, although I could read Delia's letter fine, I couldn't read her alternative signature. "Delia or ... ?" Or what? Delta 3? Space-camp name?

It's her name, written again, in her "cursive handwriting" (which still needs a little work).

I put in a query tonight with the committee who runs Reach for the Stars whether they can set up a PayPal button. If they do, I will let everyone know.
