We got our new karate pictures. We don't have Fiona's yet: we got a special triple exposure picture done, to celebrate her new black belt, and that has to be finalized through the studio. In one pose, she was kicking a high round kick, in one she was posing in a front stance with her kamas, and one is a closeup, and then the three pictures will be combined together into one. I'm sure it'll look great. I'll post it as soon as we get it. But we are pretty pleased with the ones we've received already. Delia's, of course, is spectacular, and I look at mine and think, hey, not too shabby for a woman pushing fifty, no?

I wanted to show a high kick picture, too, but I'm much more inflexible in my hips and so can only kick at waist level to the side. So I did a front kick, which is much easier. I still had to warm up for a while to get it this high.
