I love the picture I've been using as my portrait on my DW, LJ, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Profile, but I've gone back to wearing glasses and have a new haircut and it's four years out of date. Given that I have to spruce up the LinkedIn Profile, I went to a friend at my church and asked whether he would be willing to shoot some professional shots for me. He did a beautiful job, and we agreed that I would pay him once I get a job.

We got our new karate pictures. We don't have Fiona's yet: we got a special triple exposure picture done, to celebrate her new black belt, and that has to be finalized through the studio. In one pose, she was kicking a high round kick, in one she was posing in a front stance with her kamas, and one is a closeup, and then the three pictures will be combined together into one. I'm sure it'll look great. I'll post it as soon as we get it. But we are pretty pleased with the ones we've received already. Delia's, of course, is spectacular, and I look at mine and think, hey, not too shabby for a woman pushing fifty, no?
