Dad's out of surgery

pegkerrMom called this afternoon. The surgery (installing a pacemaker) took about an hour and a half and went well. Dad was sort of drifting in and out, but all seems encouraging. They have lots of friends to be with them, even if they don't have family nearby.
Mom said she'd call this weekend with an update.
