ACK, that's cold. What was the ambient temp? And what was Fiona's objection to being tolerably warm? Winter coat not fashionable? :P

I have no idea what her objection was, since ordinarily she really doesn't care what she wears. But she refuses to wear that winter coat. Sometimes the reasoning of a teenage mind are a mystery to me.

Ambient temp was -6°F. It's -10°F this morning, but fortunately not as windy.

There is, I'm pretty sure, no way to predict, nor to understand, the vagaries of teen preferences in clothes. My sort-of-slobby son (P) was as hard to figure out as my fashionista daughter (R).
