Reading
hpalternity?
Feb. 12th, 2009 11:54 amForgive me while I preen, but I just had to boast a bit. We've had some really great playing the last couple days on
hpalternity, like here and here.
(Anyone out there still reading and enjoying? What bits have you particularly liked? We're starving for feedback.)
What I did yesterday to make the world a better place: I printed out information about which fruits and vegetables are best to buy organic, and I practiced the songs I'll be singing at the church's Valentine Day's luncheon with the accompaniast.

I do wonder about whether it will survive for the full seven years, or the full out cast; the cumulative word count will be tremendous. But in many ways, i think the new worldbuilding is better than some of Rowling's. (She had great strengths there, but also great blind spots. This seems to be the advantage of the group dynamic.)

Date: 2009-02-13 09:04 am (UTC)Pansy's character is a really interesting one, and the half-blood students' struggles are heartbreaking.
I think you are all doing a wonderful job, and I hope you keep it up for all seven years!

Date: 2009-02-13 07:31 pm (UTC)I'm missing Ron. Presumably real life intruded for his player, but having the cross-House friendships we never really got to see in the books was neat.
