Oh, are you following the AWARE fiasco in Singapore? This one hits a little close for me -- I'm appropriately horrified and entirely unable to do anything about it, since they don't allow proxy voting. A bunch of friends are keeping the rest of us updated on the goings-on. It's thoroughly shameful -- clearly evangelical crazies aren't uniquely American by any stretch.

Yes, that was what the Twitter about what's going in Singapore was about, the AWARE issue. I understand there is a petition going on to denounce the group in its new incarnation. It is dreadful indeed.
