I have a feeling that a) 50% of the people friended you for at least one of the above reasons and b) you're much less boring than you think you are.
I have a theory. When you are well-read/well-informed, even if there is direct evidence to the contrary, you usually think you are not interesting. But think of how you became well-read: probably because you have an endless capacity to find things interesting. Assume other people are the same.
