Saw it tonight
Dec. 18th, 2002 03:41 amYes, I had a ticket for 9:00 p.m. tonight. But that wasn't soon enough. So I went insane and even though I have to work tomorrow, er today, I went to the 12:01 a.m. show. I just got home.
alexmalfoy I'm not even going to put up a cut tag because you don't need to avert your eyes. All I'm going to say is, if you hate Tolkien, and/or hated the first movie and/or refused to see it (yes, I know you're in that last group,
papersky), you will probably won't see this one, I know. But for those, like me, who loved the first one, this one is more so. I'm too fried to give a review; will just say that I will go again to that 9:00 p.m. tomorrow, er tonight.
It's wonderful. Yes, there are parts where it departs from Tolkien, but . . . well, see if for yourself.
[Staggers off to bed, will be getting up in, like three hours. Aargh]
Yawning,
Peg
