I'm so grateful to kijjohnson for telling me about the livejournal of opportunitygrrl, the running account of the Mars rover that sounds like a Valley girl:

I'm inside Endurance! Okay, just by a little, but I'm hanging out here tonight! I keep having to drive in and then back up, just to make sure that I can get out! It's like I'm practicing for my driver's license! I bet parallel parking will be a breeze after this! I'm kinda sad that I had to scuff up my wheels more, but I guess sacrifices must be made for science, even if it means giving up that nice shiny finish...Well, gotta get some sleep. Big rover hugs (as long as you don't mind getting dusty)!
