Terrific party last Saturday night

I had a really good time at the party at minnehaha B. & K.'s, although Rob and I had communication problems regarding who was going to be where when to pick up the girls and bring them home so that they could get to bed at a decent hour. dd_b took pictures, including one of me deep in conversation (about Thomas Shippey and Verlyn Flieger) with David Emerson here. I left at 10:30, partly because I had to get the girls home to bed and partly because my cat allergies were acting up. I wish, in a way, I'd just suffered the allergies out because it was an awfully fun party with great music and lovely people, including dozens of people who are on LJ. Thanks again, minnehaha K. and B. And thanks for the white truffle honey, buttonlass! I conscientiously allowed everybody in my family to try a little sample, and they all turned their nose up at it, the fools, so it is mine, all mine!
