Columbia Pictures is in negotiations with potential cast members (Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson). Director: Robert Zemeckis. Screenplay by Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman. Goal: release in 2007. Could be interesting . . .

I was doing a Google ego scan and ran across this reference to an apparent academic article, in a list of references for those studying Angels in America (which I still haven't seen):
