Saw March of the Penguins
Jul. 18th, 2005 07:22 amWent to see "March of the Penguins," because
minnehaha B. pointed out that there was nothing better for coping with the ninth day in a row of 90 degree temperatures (or was it the tenth?) than going to an air-conditioned theater to pretend you are in Antarctica.
Next time I complain about parenting, slap me upside the head and remind me it could be worse; I could be an Emperor penguin, okay? At least I don't have to starve for two months to nurture my child. And then walk seventy miles to get dinner. And then walk seventy miles back and throw it up so my kid can eat.
