Fiona's commentary on the Alito Confirmation hearings

Fiona came into my office while I was watching this clip on the Alito hearings. Fiona asked what I was watching, and I said, "Well, these senators are sparring a bit over Mr. Alito, who is being considered as a candidate for the Supreme Court."

Fiona considered for a moment, and then said, "Except not with helmets and pads and fists."

I had a sudden beautiful mental image of Specter and Kennedy squaring off for a kick-butt round in our sensei's dojo, and nodded regretfully. "Except not with helmets and pads and fists."

Too bad.
