Happy Thanksgiving!

Today I am thankful for:

My family:
My parents are strong and well
Rob, friend and true lover
Fiona and Delia, growing up so beautifully, and I'm so proud of them
My sisters and brother and their families
Kij, dear as a sister to me
Rob's family, who have accepted me and I love as my own
A well paying job with good benefits
A supportive church
Friends near and far, who share a variety of interests
A sound home, with objects in it that I love. Even if it gets a little messy from time to time
A garden
The ability so far to pay all our bills
Karate! With special and grateful thanks to the donor who made the scholarship possible
Books and the ability to read
My education
The Internet, and all its delicious delights and distractions
Fandom pleasures
Livejournal, and the wise and wonderful friendships I've made there
My health, including good (albeit expensive) medical care, access to clean water, good food and the ability to cook it, etc.
The political right to speak my mind
A working car
A working bicycle
Coffee shops
Movie theaters
