Marvel meets Miss Austen

Apparently, Marvel Comics is turning Pride and Prejudice into a five-part comic book. This could be interesting (although I'm sure some Janites will suffer palpitations at the very idea, if not consider it a sign of the end times) but the cover doesn't leave me very hopeful:

Free music for St. Patrick's Day

If you're in the mood for some Irish music to celebrate St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, marcgunn has made seventeen songs available for free download: Best of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, here.
