Overheard this morning

A three way conversation held between Mom in the hallway, Dad in the bathroom, and Fiona in her bedroom, after Mom hung up the phone on Delia's school.

Rob: 'Who was that on the phone?'

Peg: 'That was the school. They were asking for permission to change Fiona's bus ride home, because she forgot to get a bus note.'

Fiona: 'Fiona didn't forget to get a bus note.'

Rob: '(Sternly) Is Fiona up yet?'

Peg: 'Fiona forgot to get out of bed.'

Fiona: 'Fiona's glaring right now!'

Anniversary

Today's the 8th anniversary of the date I started my online journal. Here was the first entry.

Thanks so much everyone, for making me laugh, sometimes making me cry, and for making me think. I've made great friends here--some of them the best I've ever had, even if we've never actually met--and I've gained more support (for both me AND my family) than I could have possibly imagined on that day so long ago when I nervously made my first post.

Love you all, gang. I plan to stick around for a good many years to come.

Today's MY day on the Uniform Project

I'm sponsoring April 27, my online journal anniversary. You'll note that's my comment there up at the top. I would have picked my fiftieth birthday tomorrow, but alas, that day was taken already.)
