Anniversary
Jul. 6th, 2011 08:44 amYesterday was Rob's and my 25th wedding anniversary.
My firm gave me both Monday and Tuesday off, which was nice. Our plans for the weekend, however, morphed several times, based on several monkey wrenches the girls threw into our plans to get away.
We eventually settled on one night at a bed and breakfast in Prescott, Wisconsin, just over the border on the night of July 4. The owners were as nice as could be and we did enjoy our night away. They had several neighbors who had a sort of good-natured competition to see who could shoot off the best fireworks display, which we were able to watch from a second story deck. Our plans for the next day again cut short (again, the girls) but we managed a nice lunch out.
So: the day was duly acknowledged.
Go us.
Only five more years until the next tunnel through time picture!
